Church LED Screen in Lekki, Lagos: Salem Christian Ministry P2.5 Case Study
This is a real installation, documented on site. In November 2025, Salem Christian Ministry in Lekki, Lagos, installed a 4.48 × 2.4 m Ehonor P2.5 LED screen as the centrepiece of its main auditorium stage. The photos and video below were taken at the church while the final installation was still in progress.
Short answer: Salem Christian Ministry in Lekki, Lagos runs a 4.48 × 2.4 m P2.5 indoor LED screen (Ehonor series) mounted centre stage above its tiered auditorium. At 2.5 mm pixel pitch the screen resolves 1792 × 960 pixels — about 10.8 m² of display, sharp enough for lyrics and sermon media from the back rows, and camera-friendly for a church that records its services. LEGIDATECH built and shipped the screen as a standard-panel system.

- One 4.48 × 2.4 m screen mounted centre stage against the dark curtain wall, visible from every seat in the tiered auditorium.
- P2.5 pixel pitch — 160,000 pixels per square metre, 1792 × 960 pixels across the full screen.
- The screen plays the church’s service media — welcome loops, video clips and teaching content — from a standard LED controller.
- Both photos and the site video were taken during the final installation; the auditorium was already decorated for the church’s 2025 programme around it.
The Client
Salem Christian Ministry is a church in Lekki, one of Lagos’s fastest-growing districts. Its main auditorium is built around a large tiered stage — blue-carpeted platforms, wide red steps, and a truss of stage lights above a dark curtain wall. The LED screen sits at the centre of that composition, hung on the curtain wall where the whole room can see it.
The screen is treated as part of the stage design rather than an add-on: it carries the room’s visuals during services, and the church can switch content for programmes and events. That is how church LED screen projects in Nigeria are being specified now — fixed, permanent, and matched to the sanctuary’s geometry.
The Screen: Ehonor Series P2.5 Indoor LED Display
The screen is an Ehonor Series P2.5 indoor LED display — the fine-pitch indoor line behind several of our Nigeria installations. Four things matter for a church build like this:
- P2.5 resolution at sanctuary distance. The screen resolves 1792 × 960 pixels. From the front rows to the back pews, lyrics, scripture and video stay readable — the detail a congregation actually uses week to week.
- Indoor design for a stage wall. A fixed indoor build that sits flat against the curtain wall, with brightness that can be tuned under stage lighting instead of washing the platform out.
- Camera-friendly refresh. Churches film their services. A high refresh rate keeps the screen clean on camera — the project photos and video were both shot on ordinary phones inside the lit auditorium, and the screen reads smooth, without scan lines.
- Standard panel system. The screen is built from standard Ehonor cabinets, so a spare module is a plug-and-play fix. For a church, that means a failed panel is minutes of downtime, not a closed Sunday.
Installation: What the Site Photos and Footage Show
The site photos show the installation as it happened rather than staged for a showroom. The screen was already hung and playing content, while the last of the packing crates still sat on the auditorium floor and the flower arrangements were being placed along the stage edge.

The geometry is worth noting. The screen sits high on the curtain wall, centred over the platform, so sightlines clear the head height of anyone standing on stage. The two side displays flanking it stay dark during setup — the LED screen carries the room on its own.
The Screen in Action
The site video shows the screen switching through the church’s content — ambient visuals, then full-motion video of people on stage, played to the whole room. Content runs from a standard LED controller, so the media team can move from welcome loops to teaching clips to event graphics without touching the hardware.
Because the clip was filmed handheld on a phone in a lit room, it doubles as a camera test: motion stays smooth and band-free on the recording. For a church that records or streams its services, that is the difference between a screen that serves the room and one that shows up badly in every video.
Why P2.5 Works Well for a Church LED Screen
Churches are a specific viewing problem: mixed distances, small text, cameras, and stage lighting that changes all through a service. P2.5 answers each part of it.
Lyrics and text at real distances. In an auditorium like Salem’s, the closest seats are a few metres from the stage and the back rows sit well beyond ten. At 2.5 mm pixel pitch, the picture holds together across that whole range — close enough for crisp lyrics up front, far enough that the back rows read the same screen without seeing a pixel grid.
Church LED screen vs projector. As we break down in our LED screen vs projector comparison for churches, a projector needs throw distance and a clean wall — and it loses contrast the moment the stage lights and haze come up, which is exactly when a service is at its peak. An LED screen is self-emissive: it keeps black levels against the dark curtain, runs the whole service without lamp changes, and photographs cleanly for the church’s recordings. Where a projector is a compromise on a budget, a fixed church LED display is built to be part of the sanctuary.
LED Screens in Nigeria Churches
Nigeria is one of the most active church LED screen markets we ship to, and Lagos alone keeps adding documented installs. The Ehonor P2.5 line has already been recorded in a Lagos cathedral installation and a church LED screen case study in Abuja — and in the same month as this project, the same series went into a nightclub LED screen build in Lekki, a few streets from Salem’s auditorium. Same hardware, very different rooms: that range is exactly why the standard-panel P2.5 keeps coming up in Nigerian projects.
FAQ
What LED screen did Salem Christian Ministry install?
A 4.48 × 2.4 m Ehonor Series P2.5 indoor LED screen — about 10.8 m² of display, resolving 1792 × 960 pixels — mounted centre stage in the church’s main auditorium in Lekki, Lagos.
What pixel pitch is right for a church LED screen?
For most sanctuaries, P2.5 is the sweet spot: fine enough for lyrics and scripture at mid-room distances, without paying for detail the back rows cannot see. Larger halls with viewing beyond fifteen metres can step up to P3, and outdoor or very deep rooms often use P4 and above.
Why do churches install LED screens instead of projectors?
LED screens keep contrast under stage lighting, need no throw distance or lamp replacements, and stay camera-friendly for recorded and streamed services. A projector washes out exactly when the service is at its peak; a fixed LED screen is built for the room.
Can LED screens be shipped and installed in Nigeria?
Yes. LEGIDATECH ships LED screens to Nigeria regularly — this Salem project, a Lagos cathedral, and a church screen in Abuja are all documented installations. Screens travel in export packing with spare modules, and support continues remotely after delivery.
How much does a church LED screen cost in Nigeria?
Factory-direct indoor screens typically price between US$350 and US$1,500 per square metre depending on pitch and configuration. A 10.8 m² P2.5 screen lands in the low-to-mid five figures before sea freight and clearing — for P2.5, expect the upper half of that range. The full breakdown is in our LED screen price guide for Nigeria.
What content can a church LED screen display?
Lyrics, scripture, sermon media, video clips, announcements and camera feeds — all from a standard LED controller. The media team switches content for regular services, special programmes and events without changing any hardware.
