I. DIP package

DIP package, is the abbreviation of dual inline-pin package, commonly known as plug-in lamp type.

The package of DIP LED is potting. The process of potting is to first inject liquid epoxy resin into the LED molding cavity, and then insert the pressure welded LED bracket.

Putting it in the oven to let the epoxy resin cure, and then the LED is detached from the mold cavity and formed.

4. The outdoor LED display module with SMD package is lighter than the DIP LED module.
